5 Best Gluten-Free Snack Bars

Those with food allergies know that going out to eat or finding food on the go can often prove to be difficult. Odds are, if you have food allergies, you always keep snacks handy. Not all allergy-friendly food is created equal, so here is a list of my 5 favorite Gluten-Free food bars!

1. Larabars

All Larabars are Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free and Vegan. Each bar contains no more than 9 ingredients, all non-GMO, free of preservatives, fillers and colorings. I love that every ingredient is pronounceable and familiar! Some do have peanuts, so if you have a peanut allergy be sure to check the ingredients. My favorites are the Apple Pie, Blueberry Pie and Cashew Cookie.

2. Stabilyze Bars

Stabilyze Bars are certified Gluten-Free and Celiac safe, though they do contain dairy. They sell three flavors, Dark Chocolate Coconut Cashew, Dark Chocolate Thin Mint Cookie and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter. I haven’t seen them sold anywhere besides Costco, but you can purchase them on Amazon, here. They are a bit pricey, but they are very filling. I always keep one on me as a meal replacement if I’m not able to find any allergy friendly food while I’m out and about.

3. Kind Bars

Not all Kind Bars are Gluten-Free, but their website shows all of their Gluten-Free products, here. This is another brand with a short ingredient list that can all be pronounced. My favorite bar is the Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew!

4. Luna Bars

Luna Bars were the first nutrition bars made for women. They do a lot for female empowerment and equality, including Lunafest, a film festival by, for and about women, and Luna Chix Pro Mountain Bike Team to inspire women in sports. Not to mention, they are now Gluten-Free! My all time favorite food bar is Luna’s Chocolate Peppermint Stick.

5. Caveman Bars

Caveman Bars are Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free and Peanut-Free! The allergy friendly trifecta! I love these because they are the perfect ratio of nuts to chocolate, which keeps you full and satisfies your sweet tooth.

There you have it, my 5 favorite Gluten-Free snack bars! I hope you enjoyed, let me know if you have any allergy friendly snacks that I should check out!
